How do I reinitialize a password in Merlin Mail?

  1. Dial into voice mail.
  2. Dial System Administrator’s extension number and # (default is 9997).
  3. Dial the System Administrator’s password and #.
  4. Dial 9 for the Administration menu (MERLIN Mail Release 3 requires a second password and #).
  5. Dial 4 for Mailboxes.
  6. Dial 6 to modify a mailbox.
  7. Dial the extension number to be administered and #.
  8. Dial 3 to reinitialize the password. The Mail System says “The password has been initialized”.
  9. Dial *# to get back to the administration menu.
  10. Dial **9 to exit the voice mail system.
